Therapy is for anyone.
Therapy is a resource accessible to anyone seeking support, growth, or positive change. People from all walks of life can engage in self-discovery and healing through therapy.
Whether facing specific challenges, navigating life transitions, or simply aiming for personal development, therapy offers a welcoming environment tailored to your unique needs.
Therapy is a collaborative journey where you can become encouraged to explore your thoughts and emotions and foster a deeper understanding of yourself.
The belief that therapy is for anyone underscores the potential for growth and well-being, emphasizing that seeking support is a courageous and proactive step toward a more fulfilling life.
Therapy is about empowerment.
Therapy is a transformative journey centered on empowerment. It is a collaborative process where I will help guide you to recognize and harness your inner strength, resilience, and capacity for growth. Through self-reflection, exploration, and goalsetting, therapy can provide a unique space to gain insight into your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.
The therapeutic relationship is a foundation for empowerment, fostering a nonjudgmental environment where clients can freely express themselves. As you develop a deeper understanding of your strengths and challenges, you will become equipped with the tools and skills to navigate life’s complexities.
Empowerment in therapy is not about providing all the answers but rather facilitating a process where you can discover your solutions, make informed choices, and embrace your capacity for positive change. It is about instilling confidence, promoting self-efficacy, and guiding you toward a more fulfilling and empowered way of living.
About Me
My goal is to help others navigate life’s challenges.
Hello, I’m David Namir, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping people navigate life’s complexities and achieve emotional well-being. With 12 years of experience, I bring knowledge and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
I believe in creating a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where my clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals. Everyone is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet my clients’ specific needs.
I wasn’t always a therapist.
After a 15-year career in the marketing and advertising world, I dedicated myself to helping people become as happy and healthy as possible. Therefore, I became a clinical social worker with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Arkansas School of Social Work.
I have experience from my work at the Psychiatric Research Institute at UAMS and the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. I am also on the School of Social Work faculty at UA Little Rock.
Here’s what I do.
My specialty is helping people improve self-esteem, overcome “imposter syndrome,” and navigate life changes. I also focus on the challenges facing people in the LGBTQ+ community.
Whether you’re dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or seeking support during significant life transitions, I am here to support you.
At first, I will be a stranger, but as we get to know each other, I aim to be a trusted person in your life.
I understand your journey – and I can help.
I’ve been where you are – feeling lost and unsure of what to do to improve things and constantly second-guessing myself. Feeling alone and experiencing the pain of hiding my authentic self made matters worse.
Acting to avoid imagined consequences of being open about my identity made me dislike myself.
Therapy helped me change all those feelings, allowing me to let others know the real me.
As a therapist, I don’t want anyone to feel alone on their journey. Please get in touch with me today so I can walk beside you on this journey to well-being.
